Day 18 – And the Bandon played.

We were sad to have to drop Stacey off at the airport this morning, and sadder we needed to spend most of the day in the car. We needed to make it pretty far down the coast in order to make our next big adventure in a few days for Olivia’s birthday.

We had a few little stops along the way, but ended up spending about seven hours in the car. Sadly, not a lot of adventures today.

We finally made it to our stop for the night; Bandon, Oregon. It was definitely worth the drive! The beach was almost abandoned and one of the most beautiful we have seen. We all got our energy out by hiking to it and running in the waves.

Let’s check in with everyone

  • Daddy Brock check-in
    • Rose: Bandon beach
    • Thorn: Saying bye to Stacey
  • Daddy John check-in
    • Rose: Finding the beach
    • Thorn: Dropping Stacey off at the airport
  • Olivia check-in
    • Rose: Swimming, even though it was cold.
    • Thorn: Bye Stacey
  • Toby check-in
    • Rose: I got my seat back in the car!
    • Thorn: Ocean water still tastes terrible. I keep trying, but I just can’t swallow it.
