Day 17 – Sashay Away

For our final day with Stacey in Oregon we took off down the coast.

But first, brunch. We brunched hard and we brunched liked the real housewives of The Oregon Coast.

We hit the road and our first stop was the Tillamook cheese factory, of course.

From there, the spirit of coddiwomple guided us on multiple walks, beaches and cute little towns. We spent most of the day exploring the coast and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

We ended the day at a cute tiny home we rented. We all curled up on the couch and watch Goonies. What else do you watch while adventuring on the Oregon coast? Olivia and Stacey had never seen it.

Then we sat outside and listened to the frogs sing until we were exhausted at about midnight.

Let’s Check-In with Everyone

  • Daddy Brock check-in
    • Rose: Goonies!
    • Thorn: I have never sent back a drink at a restaurant, but I had a wine that was so bad nobody would take it off my hands or stomach to drink it.
  • Daddy John check-in
    • Rose: Cruising the Oregon Coast
    • Thorn: The Tillamook Gift Shop was closed – I’ve been wanting a nightlight in the shape of cheese since I saw it three years ago.
  • Olivia check-in
    • Rose: Brunch with Stacey’s friends and their cute baby.
    • Thorn: Too windy to swim
  • Toby check-in
    • Rose: Back on the bed with my dads.
    • Thorn: Do you know there are dogs much bigger than me? I’m not OK with them.

    • Thorn: Last day with my favorite people
