Today started off with a nice visit to the local farmers market.

On the way home we received alerts of an incoming wind storm. You could see it coming over the mountains.

The wind was pretty intense, it knocked big branches off the trees and we had to batten down the hatches.

It only lasted a few hours which gave us some time to relax and play cards. Afterwards, I caught some great videos of the hummingbirds in slow motion.

We had a lovely happy hour down the road at some of the other Wood’s house. We sat around and talked, went on a nice hike around their large property, and Olivia played with her new friend.

We ended the night with breakfast for dinner (it was kind of a necessity). When John went to buy groceries the other day, something happened in his brain that made him forget that other meals besides breakfast exist when camping. He was supposed to by groceries for 5 days and he returned with;

  • Milk
  • Bread
  • Bagels
  • Cream Cheese
  • Cheerios
  • Oatmeal
  • Pancake mix
  • Croissants
  • Eggs
  • Breakfast Sandwiches
  • Chips
  • Cheese
  • Syrup

So we have been eating breakfast for almost every meal, and tonight we made breakfast for everyone. We still have enough to last another week or two.
