Our Favorite Vegas Hangout

We love Vegas for the the scenery, the entertainment and the surprises.  When we visit there a few times a year we typically end up spending the majority of our time at one place:

The Lake of Dreams at the Wynn Resort

Parasol Up and Parasol Down

The Lake of Dreams is an outdoor bar/theater of sorts and offers “shows” every 30 minutes, each one completely different from the last.  Shows typcially last only a few minutes leaving plenty of time in between to talk, relax and soak in the beautiful scenery of the outdoor space. Note: There is a two drink minimum to sit outside on the patio.

HINT:  Try the Velvet Sailor. The martini-like drink is surprisingly good with botanical and clove-based liquors.

Lake of Dreams between shows

Each show is completely different and only lasts a few minutes, so you never know what to expect. We believe there are eight in all. Here is one show that we recorded while sitting outside on the patio:

Here are some images of a few of the other shows:

Singing Frog

Dancing Balls

Flamenco Dancing

If you get a chance, we suggest you stop by and have a couple drinks.  It is, in our opinion, one of the best places to sit and relax, Vegas Style.
